These days I'm building internal developer tools. One workflow I built investigates security findings, implements and tests fixes, and opens a pull request for an engineer to review and merge.

• Simplicity Is an Architectural Decision

  Simplicity is not the absence of design. It is the result of knowing which complexity has earned its place, where it belongs, and which imaginary futures are not worth paying for.

• A Pragmatic Testing Strategy

  Coverage numbers are easy to hit and easy to trust too much. A useful testing strategy makes the important failures visible and gives the team feedback it can act on.

• Consolidation and global rollout

  I designed and planned the consolidation of three content management platforms, aligning twelve teams through delivery. The full programme, including global rollout, took 13 months.

• Technical strategy across teams

  At Storyteq, I established the ADR and RFC practice now mandated org-wide. I help domain leads shape quarterly plans, with each lead carrying the detail for their area.

• Building what customers use

  At Albelli, I worked on the iOS and Android apps, from product customization to the platform underneath. I rebuilt the pipeline, cutting full iOS and Android builds from 50 minutes to 12.
